8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
Sollingo is designed to be used by children under parental supervision, as part of a family account structure:
- A child’s Sollingo account must be created and linked by a parent or legal guardian through the Parent Dashboard
- We collect only the learning/progress data described in Section 3 for a child’s account — no advertising, no behavioral profiling, no data sale
- Parents can review, request export of, or request deletion of their child’s data at any time by contacting [email protected]
- We do not knowingly allow a child to create an unlinked, unsupervised account. If we learn a child has created an account without parental involvement, we will work with the account holder to link it to a parent or delete it
- Parents: you can restrict or remove your child’s access at any time by unlinking or deleting their account from the Parent Dashboard

Our service providers (Clerk, Stripe, Neon, Netlify) may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions. Each maintains appropriate safeguards for international data transfers (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable).
