        <p><p>A Gmail filter takes four minutes to write and costs nothing. That is the bar anything we build has to clear, and a fair share of automation ideas never clear it. This audit is how you find that out before anyone writes code.</p>

<p>It opens with a free 20-minute call. Bring one process you run at least weekly — chasing unpaid invoices, onboarding a client, retyping form answers into a spreadsheet — and we walk it step by step, including the part someone does by hand on Sunday night.</p>

<p>If it is worth going further, the next step is a paid teardown of that single process against your real data: every step written down, who touches it, the tools already in place (Google Workspace, n8n, a Laravel app, a folder of CSVs), where it breaks, and an estimate in build hours plus monthly licence cost for each step worth automating. Fixed scope, fixed fee, delivered as a document you keep. The fee is credited against the build if you commission one.</p>

<p>A teardown can conclude that you should not automate. You paid for a document and kept your process, which is cheaper than a workflow nobody trusts.</p>

You shouldn’t be going to the mall even if it’s open, nor should you even consider just lollygagging around the Apple store and taking stupid pictures on their demo devices.       <p itemprop="description">I’m going to go with the good ol’ “It depends.” However, I first want to commend you for actually owning your own cable modem instead of coughing up $14 or so each month for Comcast to rent you one of their *meh* modem/router combinations. There’s no reason you should be paying a fee to rent that which you can purchase yourself. Of course, this also means that you’ll have to buy a new cable modem if, or when, your internet plan exceeds your modem’s capabilities. </p>
