Ephah is a storefront for digital products that runs on your own server: Django behind it, a Telegram bot as the shop front, Stripe and crypto for payment. Buyers order inside a chat they already have open, and the file goes out automatically. The opinion behind it: for a downloadable product, paying a platform cut on every sale and renting a checkout you cannot change is a poor trade once the sales are steady.

This service is the install and the fitting — your domain, your Stripe account, your bot, your catalogue loaded and tested end to end with one real payment going through. Ephah is licensed at $297 during the beta and $497 afterwards; the setup is quoted separately at fixed scope. Hosting stays yours, and a small VPS is enough for it.

Self-hosting has a cost, and it is not the licence. Upgrades, backups and the TLS certificate are on you. If nobody on your side will ever open an SSH session, Gumroad or Lemon Squeezy will serve you better, and you should hear that before you pay anyone.

What is out of scope

No physical goods, no stock or shipping, no multi-vendor marketplace, no Shopify or WooCommerce work, and no traffic acquisition to point at the store.

How it starts

Book a 20-minute call with your product list and your payment setup. If your catalogue is three files a year, hosted is the cheaper answer.
